Deflectors fitted

The deflector kit arrived today. No instructions included but it looks pretty straightforward. Removing the fairings panels was easy enough. Remove the three hex screws that are visible. Pop and remove two black plastic rivits on the front end to seperate from the inner fairing. The edge of the outer fairing also clips over the edge of the inner black fairing. Then pull off gently and the three pin/studs will pull out of their rubber gromits. The lower one connects the black trim beside the engine. The deflector hooks into a slot and is held by double side tape.

This is how you get to the radiator cap.

The smaller screen deflectors just screw on top of the existing screen. Longer bolts were supplied but the originals were okay.

These decals (stickers) were included with the screen deflectors. I couldn't work out where they went.

Actually it didn't take long once I worked out how to remove the fairing panel. I think you could fit the deflector with the panel in place with the aid of these photos.
I'll post some finished photos later. I didn't get a chance to test them yet as I had carpet fitters arrive and had to deal with them. Maybe today.

As requested some photos after fitment. Quite tricky things to photograph. As for how they performed, they did very well. Still some buffeting to the top of the helmet but far less on my body. I tested the wind strength with my hands on the lower deflectors and feel a huge amount of air being pushed away by them. I could cruise quite happily at 80mph. So worth the investment for me.
