Hi Everyone,

Greetings from the UK I live on the Cambridgeshire/Norfolk border and have just ordered my white Transalp
today after a test ride on a grey one (see pic).
Great handling, superb engine (and sound) brakes are spot on.
At 5ft 7" I could just get one foot on the ground so decided to add on the lower seat too.
Delivery for the white model isn't until September or October due to the popularity of that colour.

My dealer told me he ordered a limited one (34kW) and would unlock full power when the bike arrives. I thought he did that because the limited ones are cheaper than the full ones so he had a better margin on the bike, but he told me he has done this because if he ordered a full one, white, then i had to wait until at least end of July. So he was not cheating me then. ;-)

Thanks, one thing was the fact I could actually ride it, I’m 5ft 7” short legged so find most bikes are far to tall for me. My current bike which I’m part exchanging is the G850GS factory lowered with low seat so that’s fine.
I also liked the engine it sounded great and had immediate response from the throttle.
the handling was light and easy and the tyres gripped very well. I’m not a rider that usually rides in the rain unless I get caught in an unexpected shower so can’t vouch for riding in the wet.

That's good to hear. I like a good responsive engine in my bikes. How did you find the ride quality overall?
