Compared to the Africa Twin, the Honda Transalp is lighter, agile and better around town. It's a scaled-down Africa Twin with riding characteristics from the CB500X, it also shows up in the front end aesthetics but still different enough from other bikes in Hondas lineup. Fortunately it retains enough off-road capability with sufficient suspension travel, adequate shocks and optional tires that can take it further.
