Great write-up and diagram, you are a better electrician than me! I have gone for the Dial Dim solution with Denali D3 and 2 cheapo spotlights. The Denali lights are set for 30% on dipped beam and 100% on full beam. I managed to source the Denali ground earth switching unit, but I bet your solution is much cheaper!!!! The cheap spotlights are set to be off on dipped beam and 100% on full beam. I put orange-coloured film over the lens and the Dial Dim has the facility to make the 2nd pair of lights flash with the indicators. All works fine. I recommend the Dial Dim solution as an alternative option.

Nice result, Bruno. I agree that the headlight on the Transalp is inadequate and you do need accessory lights. I used this plastic film from eBay. 12"x12" Orange Amber Headlight Tail Lamp Fog Light PVC Tint Overlay Vinyl Film | eBay its a bit of a faff given that both sides of the film have a thin plastic film that needs to be peeled off and only one side is mildly tacky but it stuck to the light lens well enough. I put on two layers to deepen the colour

Hi, I’ve followed your install, (the diode works great btw) but I managed to purchase the trigger wizard from Denali, however, when the lights come on for the first time they immediately turn off and the aux power feed no longer provides voltage…. Any ideas? I can make the lights work fine using a direct feed to the battery, it is only when I try and use the switched power that this happens. It’s as if the BCU is turning the switched feed off.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Could it be that the aux circuit has a amperage sensor and it's drawing too much current from the aux circuit directly. You may need to wire it through a separate relay which takes the main power from the battery but it's only triggered by the aux circuit??
